Tiffany Powell, MA, EA
Tiffany is the founder of Sapphire Bookkeeping & Accounting Inc. She has a Bachelor’s in Finance from Arizona State University as well as a Masters’ in Accounting from Grand Canyon University. She has been working in the accounting industry since high school and loves every minute of it. Tiffany has a true passion for tax and accounting and will do everything possible to help our clients be successful. She has dedicated herself to understanding the individual needs of our clients and ensuring that they are our number one priority.
Jonathan Powell, EMBA, EA
Jonathan has an Executive Masters in Business Administration from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelors degree in Global Business and Finance from Arizona State University. He is the youngest person to ever graduate from the Executive Master’s Program facilitated by Management Expert Ken Blanchard. He has 15+ years of experience working for several fortune 50 companies in the fields of Operations, Business Management, Business Finance, Banking, Restaurants, Sales and Service. He enjoys teaching business owners how to apply different concepts to grow their business and understand how these concepts can be utilized to grow the bottom line. A proud Sun Devil and alumni of Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity, he enjoys watching College Football and spending time with his family.
Maria Flores
Maria was born and raised in Arizona and she is fluent in both English and Spanish. She joined the Sapphire team in March of 2017 and has over 10 years’ of experience in bookkeeping and accounting and has worked with companies in multiple industries. She is always available to our clients via phone, email, or in person. Maria is a certified QuickBooks professional and is currently working towards becoming an Enrolled Agent with the IRS.
Rana Segman
Rana was born in Iraq and immigrated to the US when she was very young. She previously lived in IL before relocating to AZ in 2017. After trying to become a radiologist she realized her true passion was accounting. She graduated in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Governor’s State University in IL. She has been working in the accounting field for over 9 years and joined our team at Sapphire in 2019. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and cooking up a storm.
Courtney Diligianis
Courtney is the first person you will speak to when you call our office. She is our amazing office manager and joined our team in 2019. Previous to Sapphire, she had worked in the customer service industry for over 10 years and she brings that background with her to Sapphire. When she is not working, she loves spending time with her family and enjoys outdoor activities such as kayaking, camping and swimming.
Patty Staley
Patty joined our team in February 2021. She has over 7 years of bookkeeping experience and specializes in bookkeeping, sales tax and end of year compliance. She is well versed in all versions of Quickbooks and regularly does training to keep up on her skills and new software changes. When not working, she loves to make use of our Arizona mountains while hiking and spending time with her son.
Jessica Rodriguez
Jessica is PNW native & moved to Arizona in 2021. She joined our team in 2024 and has 8 years of accounting, tax preparation and bookkeeping experience, as well as two degrees in Accounting and Business Management. Besides her passion for accounting, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. She is never without a book, and she loves creating recipes, baking, hiking, and traveling. Jessica’s creativity shines through in her attention to detail and her ability to overcome any challenge that may come her way.
